I believe in placing the needs of Petalumans above special interests. I am committed to serving Petaluma with honesty and action – to ensure City decisions are made with your input and thoughtful, sensible consideration for your quality of life.

I have worked hard to build an automotive mechanical repair business and raise my family here in Petaluma for the last 36 years, and I love Petaluma dearly. We are a unique community of people who care and come together for each other when the going gets tough. My desire to run for mayor stems from my commitment to always give back, and to bring my business expertise and City government experience to ensure Petaluma’s city-wide needs are addressed. 

I have consistently participated in City Council and committee meetings for over 36 years, engaging with and shaping City priorities and policy with a focus of true democratic representation and fiscal spending responsibility.

I’ve served on multiple committees (City of Petaluma Community Access, Healthy Community Consortium) and nonprofit boards, and have worked with many programs (youth, wetlands restoration, homelessness, and downtown beautification). The advantage of my ongoing close engagement with our City over the past 36 years is my long-term understanding of exactly how our City operates and its persistent challenges. 

My knowledge, supported by my consistent decades-long engagement with City Council and commitment to bold action are especially important this election because Petaluma’s next City Council will be deciding our next 20-year General Plan. It is critical that genuine representation of Petalumans is prioritized over special interests.

There is a lot at stake this election, with the next Petaluma 20-year plan to be finalized. I will fight to represent and protect Petaluma, prioritizing the people of Petaluma over special interests such as developers who have been maneuvering to carve up our Fairgrounds.
